Why I Love My Veridian Home - Essay Winner:

We love our Veridian home because it is durable, yet comfortable; practical, yet beautiful; playful, yet peaceful; the perfect place to raise a family. When we began the building process, we were expecting our first child, a little boy. We wanted a house that would be kid friendly, but still allow Mommy and Daddy to have their beautiful dream home. With the help of the design staff, we accomplished that goal, and could not be more pleased. We wanted an open layout, perfect for socializing and entertaining. We soon discovered open layouts are also better racetracks! Mommy wanted a beautiful kitchen with hardwood floors and maple cabinets. The assistant chef agrees! Daddy wanted to stay in shape and space to relax, while spending time with his faithful sidekick! We wanted a large yard, on a safe street, for our son to grow up and play in safely. We found a perfect setting, on a cul-du-sac, and are eagerly anticipating summer playtime. We have also been blessed with terrific neighbors and new playmates. We look forward to watching the kids grow up together. We love our Veridian home for one simple reason...it is HOME.
