REVIT/3D MODELER

Veridian Homes, an innovative company with an emphasis on smart growth and green built practices, has an exciting, full-time opportunity in its’ home building services department for an enthusiastic Building Information Modeler to join our team!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Creating an accurate 3D Revit model of a home;

Maintaining and confirming 3D Revit model used to generate sales pricing;

Assisting and developing site plans for new community phases and individual customer home sites; and

Creating new 3D Revit models to improve plan portfolio and improve current 3D Revit models

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good interpersonal and leadership skills and a positive attitude. Candidates must also be solution-oriented and possess a keen desire to learn and apply new technologies. Preference will be given to those candidates who have Revit experience and an understanding of estimating principles. A background in residential construction is a plus.

Marketing Intern

Veridian Homes, LLC, Wisconsin’s largest home builder, has an exciting opportunity for a marketing/communications student!

If you are detail-oriented, professional, outgoing and are passionate about your future career in marketing/advertising, this will be the perfect opportunity for you. Past interns have gone on to professional careers at Procter & Gamble, Target, Pulte Homes and Veridian Homes, among others. We are looking for a team player to join our marketing department and assist with the following:

Event planning and promotion

Coordinate website updates, including copywriting

Assist with print coordination and quality assurance

Research and competitive analysis

Assist in all duties in relation to generating qualified leads and supporting our sales team

Maintain archives of all ad proofs, press clippings and media kits

Other administrative duties as required

The candidate must be proficient in MS Word & Excel, previous website experience is a plus. This unpaid position is 10-20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, with the potential for 40 hours per week during the summer/winter break. Students applying for this opportunity must be a sophomore or junior with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0, preferably majoring in marketing, communications or journalism. The ability to provide your own transportation to work is a must.

Other desired qualities include strong organizational and writing skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.

This is a fast-paced position and each day is different. You’ll leave here with a better understanding of the home building industry and you’ll know the in’s and out’s of advertising, public relations and marketing. Plus, you’ll learn how to work in a business environment.

Design Studio Intern

If you are detail-oriented, professional, outgoing, and passionate about your future career in interior design, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a team player to join our design department and assist with the following:

Maintain our Design Studio samples

Assist customers with pre-selection meeting browsing

Support the Design Studio Manager and Design Studio Consultant, as needed

Other administrative duties as required

If you are interested in gaining hands-on experience while creating new 3D Revit models, which will assist us in improving our plan portfolio, and updating our existing 3D Revit models, this opportunity is for you.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good interpersonal and leadership skills and a positive attitude. Candidates must also be solution-oriented and possess a keen desire to learn and apply new technologies. This unpaid internship is for 15-20 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
