We are looking for a team player to join our marketing department and assist with the following: The candidate must be proficient in MS Word & Excel, previous website experience is a plus. This unpaid position is 10-20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, with the potential for 40 hours per week during the summer/winter break. Students applying for this opportunity must be a sophomore or junior with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0, preferably majoring in marketing, communications or journalism. The ability to provide your own transportation to work is a must. Other desired qualities include strong organizational and writing skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment. This is a fast-paced position and each day is different. You’ll leave here with a better understanding of the home building industry and you’ll know the in’s and out’s of advertising, public relations and marketing.
